THE CONCEPT
Mindful Sculpt is a collection of nine efficient workouts which recruit the power of mindfulness to sculpt the body you want. The workouts utilize two powerful techniques of all elite athletes:

The Power of the Subconscious Mind:
When was the last time you had to think about digesting your food or growing new hair? Never. It happens without you thinking about it.
It’s time to use that “invisible” power that is always working for you to sculpt the body you want.
We do this at the beginning, by setting intention.
We envision exactly what we will look like after the change has been made (as opposed to complaining about and thereby reinforcing the unwanted).
We do this during the workout by connecting our powerful minds to the actions we are doing. We use intense mind-muscle connection to literally melt away what is no longer desired the same way that a sculptor would chizzle marble to reveal a particular form. We do this at the end in a short, but potent final meditation.
Throughout the entire workout, you have the opportunity to hold your new form in your mind’s eye and thereby set the manifestation in motion.
You show your ‘self’ where you are headed and the subconscious delivers that to you like the faithful servant to your thoughts that it is. You’ll notice food choices getting easier, motivation coming more readily and the entire process feeling aligned.
Intelligent Training:
In addition to powerful intention and visualization, we add intelligent training.
The moves, the timing of the moves and the combinations are designed to recruit as many muscle fibers as possible to deliver you maximum sculpting in minimal time. Bring engagement to the workouts and you will be rewarded. I say it over and over: the burn is the change. There is a large difference between the pain of injury when a joint hurts or the neck is taxed—pain that doesn’t feel good. That kind of pain is our body’s way of warning us that we are doing something incorrectly. On the other hand, muscle burning is a body experiencing the heat of energy conversion.
Most of these workouts 20 minutes or less so you can show up, bring your full mental and physical game and implement the tools to see rapid change.
There are two basic ways to approach the workouts:
Full Body Transformation
Aside from the “Total Body Tone” workout, Mindful Sculpt is purposely broken into upper and lower workouts so you can hit it hard every day by alternating between upper body and lower body.
Target a Problem Area
If you have a problem area you want to sculpt, I recommend doing that video every other day until you see the change. For example, if you want a new shape in your backside, do “Booty Blast” Monday, take Tuesday off , do “Booty Blast” Wednesday, take Thursday off, etc.
Either way you approach it, be sure to give the muscle groups a day of rest in between workouts. Overtraining doesn’t yield anything but injury. By letting the muscle recover, it is able to knit itself tighter and leaner. That is how you get results. If you’ve done the “Total Body Tone” workout, give yourself a rest day the next day.
A Note About Cardio
If you want to see more definition anywhere, you need to lose fat. That happens in a calorie deficit. Thus, burning more calories is crucial which means cardio matters.
You can do your usual gym cardio routine. Or, if you find that dreadfully boring, I’ve given you two options for torching calories at home without any equipment. One is a 20-minute calorie torch. The other is a 30-minute calorie torch.
As tempting as it may be to jump on the elliptical at a low speed and read a magazine, you should know that this is a waste of time in terms of accelerated results. How to know if you are working hard enough to gain accelerated results is to make sure you are working up a sweat during your workouts. If you aren’t sweating, you probably aren’t working hard enough. Sweat is your signal that you have raised your body temperature, therefore raised your metabolic rate. I joke with my clients that sweat is fat crying.
